A High Wycombe man has been barred from HMV in the town after he stole hundreds of pounds worth of DVDs over a period of several months.
Aaron Marshall, 43, of Station Close in High Wycombe, will not be allowed inside the store in the Eden Centre for a year after he admitted to multiple theft offences.
Over a three-month period, from May 17 to August 14, Marshall stole from HMV on eight separate occasions, taking at least £432-worth of DVDs.
At a hearing at Wycombe Magistrates' Court on September 12, Marshall pleaded guilty to eight counts of theft from a shop.
The court heard how the thefts took place on May 17, May 27, June 17, June 20, June 22, June 30, July 3 and August 14.
After hearing the evidence, the justices ordered that Marshall pay HMV £437.82 in compensation.
He was also issued with an exclusion order, banning him from entering the premises of the shop until September 11, 2023.
Marshall was also handed a community order requiring him to carry out rehabilitation activities.
