A BEAUTIFUL tribute to Queen Elizabeth II has been landscaped into the village park in Wooburn Green near Bourne End.
Dan Perkins who owns a groundskeeping business wanted to pay his respects to Her Majesty The Queen following her death on Thursday, September 8.
And what better way then marking out “EIIR” on the green area of Wooburn Green.
Underneath the Royal Cypher of Queen Elizabeth II is a colourful Union Jack flag which stands out from a birds eye view.

Dan said "'I'm proud and happy to have been able to create this for our community. It's a moment in history that we will all remember and I really wanted to mark it in some way.
"My wife and I take our boys to play on the green several times a week so it's a special place for us. We have so many happy family memories there, and now this is one them."
The Cypher took three hours to make and he made the template for it through his business Groundtel.
Mr Perkins added: "We created this bespoke template for some of our clients. I've lived in Wooburn Green for several years and wanted to recognise this moment in history with a tribute for our community."
The death of Queen Elizabeth II has sparked a period of national mourning across the UK.
Her death brings an end to a 70-year reign, the longest in history, having ascended the throne following the death of her father, King George VI on 6 February 1952.
