ARMED police stormed inside a property following reports of a man in possession of a firearm.

Officers were called on Monday afternoon (September 12) to Castle Street, High Wycombe, after receiving calls of a man seen with a firearm outside the property

Armed police quickly rushed to the scene and raided the home.

An air rifle was found at the address but investigations established this had been purchased at auction therefore no offence was committed.

Thames Valley Police arrested a 28-year-old man in connection to the incident.

They have been released with no further action taken.
