A car wash owner has been handed a £20,000 fine following an immigration investigation almost one year after facing similar punishment.
Earlier this year, Thames Valley Police (TVP) and Immigration Enforcement attended the North Star car wash in Iver as part of a joint operation.
Police have since confirmed a number of workers were identified as working illegally and have fined them £20,000.
In November 2021, the Iver car wash was also fined after a similar investigation in July that year.
The Iver car wash faced a £15,000 fine after police found a number of workers were identified as working illegally with there also being concerns over their welfare.
The car wash is in the car park of the North Star Iver pub which is on Thorney Mill Road, just off junction 15 on the M25.
A TVP social media post said: "Earlier this year Neighbourhood Policing Team and Immigration Officers attended various car washes around the area as part of a joint operation.
"The North Star Car wash in Iver has now been fined £20,000 by immigration for employing illegal workers."
