Dozens of people watched the proclamation for King Charles III in High Wycombe town centre.
The historic event was captured on people's phones at Queen Victoria Street outside the council offices.
Children of all ages attended the event and many people brought their pets as the sun shone down on the momentous occasion.

After the proclamation, three cheers were given to the new King which could be heard out across the town as local officers raised their hats and a round of applause rounded off the event.
High Wycombe Mayor, Councillor Arif Hussain, lead the ceremony honouring the 'beloved Queen Elizabeth II' before proclaiming the new monarch.
