LEGOLAND Windsor is among theme parks to have closed their doors today following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
The nation has entered a period of mourning following the death of Her Majesty The Queen.
The sad news was confirmed on Thursday evening after members of the royal family travelled to Balmoral, where the Queen was laying in rest.
As the nation mourns the Queen a number of events have been cancelled.
Legoland Windsor put a statement online which said: "We are extremely saddened to hear of the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II. It has been a joy and an honour to recreate iconic moments from the Queen's life over the years. Our thoughts are with all the Royal Family at this deeply sad time.
"Out of respect the Resort will be closed tomorrow. If you're due to visit you will receive an email about your booking."
