Several arrests have been made after a protest took place at the Arla Foods site near Aylesbury.
At around 5.50am on Sunday, September 4, officers attended the site in the village of Aston Clinton following reports that protestors entered the premises on Samian Way.
According to Thames Valley Police, the demonstrators ‘affected operations’.

In all, 23 people were arrested and they currently remain in police custody.

This comes just five days after members from the Animal Rebellion group barricaded parts of the site, after they accused the corporation of not ‘tackling the climate crisis’.
Assistant Chief Constable Dennis Murray said: “The protest caused some disruption to the Arla Foods site and the A41 for a short period of time but has now been safely resolved, with 23 people arrested.
Protest removal teams were utilised and 23 people have been arrested. They remain in custody.

ACC Dennis Murray said: “Thames Valley Police respects the right for peaceful protest but will take action when protest activity infringes on others going about their lawful business."

“Furthermore, our response to the protest has reduced our ability to effectively investigate crimes and protect vulnerable individuals across the Thames Valley.
“Those who commit crimes while protesting will always be dealt with robustly by Thames Valley Police.
“Protestors have now left the site and patrols will continue in the area.”
