The names and faces of the Bucks criminals jailed in August

Thanks to the hard work of Thames Valley Police, these offenders are now behind bars, where they cannot harm the public.

Take a look at the list below to see the names and faces of the Bucks criminals jailed last month.

Andrew Custos

This offender was jailed for four years and nine months after he admitted to kidnapping a woman and sexually assaulting her.

Custos, aged 30, saw a woman exit a pub in Marlow and get into a taxi on February 26, and followed her to an address in High Wycombe.

He got out of his car and continued following the victim, aged in her forties, before taking her into the woods nearby where he sexually assaulted her.

Custos, of Wroxham in Bracknell, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court.

Lucas Gomes:

A High Wycombe drug dealer who was caught with thousands of pounds worth of heroin, cocaine and crack cocaine was jailed for four years and six months.

Gomes’s defence counsel argued that the 21-year-old was a victim of manipulation and received beatings in prison from his tormentors. However, a judge found that this did not hold up and that Gomes clearly benefitted financially from being a drug dealer.

During a police raid on his home in Conegra Court, High Wycombe, on February 8, 2021, 28g of cocaine was discovered, with a street value of around £2,800.

During a second raid on the property on April 9, 2021, Gomes attempted to hold the door to prevent the police from getting inside.

After they forced their way in, officers discovered 27g of heroin, 21g of crack cocaine and 132g of cannabis, as well as improvised spoons and blow torches, indicating that Gomes had been “cooking” the crack cocaine in his flat.

Connor Harrison:

This offender used a fake gun in a Bucks attempted robbery.

Harrison, 25, of HMP Bullingdon, approached the driver of the car in Meads Close, New Bradwell, at around midnight on February 7.

After claiming that the driver had attempted to run him over, a fight broke out. Harrison drew an imitation handgun and pressed it to the victim’s neck before he was hit over the head with a metal pole.

The men also made demands for the victim’s car keys and damaged it during the fight.

Harrison was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to one count each of attempted robbery, criminal damage and possession of a bladed article.

Josh Vaux, Zaakir Shah and Scott Bryant

Josh Vaux, 26, was involved in ordering and purchasing cocaine between March 2020 and August 2020 and regularly met with two other men to exchange the drug, and cash, in the High Wycombe, Aylesbury and Princes Risborough areas.

Vaux, of Hillary Road, High Wycombe, was found guilty of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs following a trial, and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Zaakir Shah, aged 25, formerly of Risborough Road, Little Kimble; and Scott Bryant, aged 60, formerly of Coronet Road, Broughton, Aylesbury, pleaded guilty to one count each of conspiracy to supply a class A controlled drug, namely cocaine. They were both jailed for seven-and-a-half years.

Mohammed Mahrban:

This drug dealer was caught with £42,000-worth of heroin and crack cocaine.

Thames Valley Police officers conducted a search at Mahrban’s home address in Chiltern Avenue, High Wycombe, on February 3 this year.

The search uncovered huge quantities of illegal Class A drugs.

Mahrban, aged 26, pleaded guilty to charges of possession with intent to supply heroin, and one count of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine.

He was jailed for five years and one month at Aylesbury Crown Court.
