TESCO'S latest plans to move into Bourne End have been opposed by parish councillors in the area.
Members of Wooburn and Bourne End Parish Council unanimously hit out at the supermarket's third proposal for a Tesco Express.
Tesco want to demolish 86-88 The Parade and build the store and four flats.
But the parish council because believes there is no need for the store, especially after a rival developer received the go ahead.
Comland Plc received permission last month to build five retail units in Parade Court, Bourne End, metres away from the old police house, which Tesco hope to build on.
The final decision is down to Wycombe District Council and the parish council can only recommend.
Councillors said they feared lorries delivering to the store would block the access road, and affect parking for the residents in the flats.
It also said the parking for the site was not enough.
And the parish council said the drawings and figures used by Tesco were inaccurate.
