DRIVERS are having to navigate a new exit route at Dovecot multistorey car park.
Sainsbury's has closed its exit onto Dovecot Road and redirected motorists to leave via the surface car park and out onto Archway.
Bosses say closing the exit is essential for customers' safety while construction work continues on a new spiral ramp exit.
The work is part of ongoing redevelopment in High Wycombe town centre.
They say drivers exiting via Archway can use the roundabout at Glenisters Road and Hughenden Road to turn around towards the town centre.
The reconstruction of the spiral ramp is running behind schedule.
Maria Twomey, spokesman for Sainsbury's, said: "The timing of the spiral ramp works has recently been rescheduled owing to a number of factors and the new ramp will now be in place in the summer.
"The current vehicular circulation arrangements will remain in place until this time providing full access to the car park.
"Sainsbury's will continue to maintain at least 650 spaces in Dovecot multistorey car park at all times. The availability of car parking spaces is unaffected by the rescheduling of the works."
