RESIDENTS who may be affected if an incinerator is built close to their homes will have the chance to learn of the county council's plans.
Springfield Farm, just outside Wooburn Green, is one site Bucks County Council is considering putting a waste management facility on, which looks most likely to be an incinerator.
And Wooburn and Bourne End Council is concerned a number of people in the area are unaware of BCC's plans and has agreed to provide parishioners with information at its Annual Parish Meeting on March 11.
The council agreed to give both BCC and opposition group Bucks Residents Against Incinerators a 15 minute slot at the meeting, followed by a question and answer period.
The meeting will take place in St Paul's Church, in Wooburn, at 7.30pm.
BCC has to select a preferred site and a second possible location in the north and south of the county and will eventually choose one of them to house a new waste management facility.
The county council begins a public consultation period on Friday, which will run until April 25.
It will be holding two public meetings in the Curzon Centre, Maxwell Road, Beaconsfield, on March 19.
The first meeting takes place at 4.15pm until 6.30pm. With the second meeting starting at 7.15pm until 9.30pm.
