A PUB badly damaged by fire two weeks ago is set to re-open at the weekend.
The Red Lion in Missenden Road, Great Kingshill, had to close for a refit following a fire at the rear of the pub, which caused severe smoke damage to the interior.
But it is now set to re-open to regulars in time for Mothering Sunday.
Manager and chef Chris O'Brien said: "We are aiming to open on Mothering Sunday as we are fully booked and we don't want to let any mothers down. We're looking forward to re-opening."
The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
