A man has been arrested and charged with theft after several stolen items were recovered in a village near Aylesbury.
In the evening of Friday, August 12, officers from Thames Valley Police apprehended the person in question in Aston Clinton.
This comes after ‘a number of stolen items’ were found in nearby areas, with the belongings alleged to have been taken from cars and other vehicles.

Following his arrest and subsequent charge, the man will appear in court in a few weeks.
In social media post explaining the arrest, Thames Valley Police Aylesbury Vale said: “A reminder, especially in this hot weather to make sure you lock your property and make sure windows are shut, as to quote the suspect ‘it’s easy when people leave their cars unlocked and windows open with items on show.’"
