PYGMALION, written by George Bernard Shaw, is the latest offering from The Thame Players.
Directed by Simon Baynes, this classic tale revolves around flower girl Eliza Doolittle (played by newcomer Alison Hulett), who is tutored by a pompous linguistics expert, Professor Higgins.
Unknown to Eliza, Higgins has made a wager with a friend that he can transform her into a lady of refinement, simply by changing the way she speaks.
The Thame Players present Pygmalion from Tuesday, March 4 to Saturday, March 8, 7.45pm, at The Players Theatre, Nelson Strret, Thame. Tickets: 0871 222 7232.
