A vehicle has caught fire on the M40 this morning, causing severe delays.
Emergency services have shut two lanes on the northbound carriageway between Junction 5 and Junction 6 due to the blaze.
Large tailbacks have been reported as a result, with motorists warned that wait times could be up to 45 minutes.

Drivers should avoid the area and try to find alternate routes while the closure is in place.
