Heavy traffic delays due to vehicle fire on motorway
There are severe traffic delays on the M40 motorway between Buckinghamshire and Oxford following a crash todaydue to a car on fire (Friday, August 12).
Traffic has stopped on the M40 northbound between junctions J6 and J8A.
One lane is currently closed and there is slow traffic due to vehicle fire and traffic is also slowing on the other side to have a look.
Highways England expect the motorway to clear between 10.30am and 10.45am.
