A FATHER and son duo who have taken over a food van business say they are selling the 'best cheeseburgers in town'.
Hassan Ali has transformed the former Rhinos food van into a brunch business, selling bacon rolls, breakfasts, sausage rolls and beef burgers.
The food van is located in the Matalan car park in Bellfield Road, High Wycombe. It was open to customers 'inconsistently' before Hassan bought it from the previous owners.
Mr Ali said: "It has always been popular as it's been around for 10 years having four to five different owners, but it was inconsistent. The previous people would open and close whenever they wanted and I am trying to build up the consistency by being here from 7am to 3pm, serving the local community.
"Me and my dad are still trying to build the business up. Everyday is different but we've seen more people come each day, especially people in trucks and tradesmen. It has become a bit busier which is great."
Brunch N Go opened on Saturday, August 6, with Hassan offering staff at Matalan and Jollyes pet store 10 per cent discount on his food.
The 25-year-old also plans to help the homeless by offering free drinks and homemade chicken and rice meals if they stop by.
He said: "I want to help people in the local community as we're not just here to make money. We want to help everyone what with the cost of living affecting people and their mental health. This is a family thing too so my mum, my wife, everyone will help out by cooking meals in a big batch to help."
Business has been steady since Hassan opened on Saturday, but the first couple of days saw a slow start with customers.
He said: "Whatever we made in the last couple of days we've recently made in an hour so it's getting busier. We're just mending relations with customers now from the previous people who owned it."
The ambitious Reading resident hopes to take the business further by selling kebabs in the evening and one day hopes to open a 'prestige' brunch cafe.
Alongside serving hot meals, Mr Ali runs a recruitment cleaning company and a shisha delivery business called Shisharoute.
