CARS had their petrol tanks drilled into last night by a gang of thieves who then siphoned out the fuel.Two cars parked in Windsor Drive, High Wycombe were attacked for petrol and another was broken into at around 11pm.
Four youths were spotted acting suspiciously in Windsor Drive at about 10pm and were later seen running in the direction of Arnison Avenue.
Fire crews from High Wycombe were called out to make the scene safe as the fuel has leaked all over the road.
Matt Wilks, one of the crew members who attended, said: "We were called to make the scene safe and plug up the tanks to stop them leaking anymore."
Police are appealing for information. Officers say the three youths were wearing dark clothing, and one was wearing a white, grey and blue striped hoodie.
