Traveller encampment spotted in Tesco car park
An illegal encampment has reportedly pitched up within a Tesco car park in Taplow.
Pictures, posted on a local Burnham community Facebook group, show multiple caravans parked up in the car park.
A shopper said they spotted the 'encampment' on Monday, August 8 at the car park of the Bishop Centre supermarket.
Shoppers reported seeing up to six caravans and associated vehicles among the vehicles parked up at the shop.
A spokesperson from Buckinghamshire Council said: "We understand that this encampment is on private land, so we would not take enforcement action - it would be the landowner's responsibility in this case."
Tesco has been contacted for comment.
