ARRIVA bus driver John Anthony Houghton is due in court this morning accused of causing the death of a pensioner who was knocked down by a bus.
Mr Houghton, 56, of Hatters Lane, High Wycombe, is charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
Wladyslawa Polatajko, an 80-year-old Polish grandmother from Rutland Street, Cressex, died in August last year after being knocked down on a pedestrian crossing in Desborough Road.
Mr Houghton is due to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court to make his plea.
