Properties across Buckinghamshire have been shut down by police in a bid to reduce anti-social and problematic behaviour.

Closure orders are issued at addresses when police and the courts have reason to believe anti-social, nuisance or criminal behaviour is taking place there.

Normally in place for three months at a time, these orders make it a criminal offence for anyone apart from specific individuals and the emergency services from entering.

See below for a list of these ‘nuisance’ properties in Buckinghamshire that have been issued with closure orders in the past few months.

An address in Cheviot Close, High Wycombe, was issued with a partial closure order on July 29 after police received several complaints about bad behaviour.

The partial order prevents all but a small number of named individuals from going into the property.

A flat in Wycliffe End, Aylesbury, was shut down by the courts, making it illegal for unwanted visitors to enter.

The order was issued on May 23 and will last for three months.

An apartment in Queens Road, High Wycombe, will be out of action for some time after it was closed down by police on June 10.

The closure order, issued by Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court, was made due to “nuisance or disorder” at the property.

Police officers shut down an address in Coxhill Way, Aylesbury, on July 8.

The entire premises will remain off limits for a three-month period.

A closure order was slapped on an address in Grenville Green, Aylesbury, following reports of nuisance behaviour.

The property was shut down on June 1 and will remain in place for three months.
