A Wycombe young people’s charity secured thousands of pounds to continue supporting young people in the face of cost-of-living crisis.

Run by the charity Action4Youth and located at High Wycombe Library, The Junction’s activities include cooking and eating sessions, hanging out with table tennis and games, kickboxing, music studio and photography.

Centre Manager Ayobami Akinolugbade is immensely grateful for the support to meet an urgent and visible need: “Food poverty is on the rise in High Wycombe - it’s an issue we are noticing on weekly basis from the young people we look after.
“This very welcome funding means we can stop more young people going hungry.”
Alongside this, the centre runs a government funded Holiday Activities and Food programme for those aged 11-16 from July 26 until August 19 between 4pm and 8.30pm.
