A Buckinghamshire driver has been banned from the roads after he was caught travelling at just over 60mph on a motorway.
Andrew Brooks, aged 59, of Briars Close in Aylesbury, has been disqualified from driving for six months for the offence on the M25.
At a hearing at Basildon Magistrates' Court on June 15, the court heard how on August 7, 2021, the driver broke a 50mph variable speed limit in force in Epping, Essex, between junctions 23 and 27.
Brooks, who was driving a Mini Cooper, recorded a speed of 63mph - 13mph above the limit on that stretch of the motorway.

At the hearing, Brooks was found guilty of speeding via a single justice procedure.
After hearing the evidence, the magistrate banned Brooks from driving for six months due to "repeat offending".
Brooks received three points on his licence for the offence, which resulted in the ban. Drivers who accumulate 12 or more points in a three-year period receive an automatic disqualification.
As well as the ban, Brooks was also given a £220 fine and ordered to pay £124 in court costs.
