Police have issued a warning following a distraction burglary that took place in Marlow over the weekend.
According to police, a burglary took place in "the Marlow area" at around 6pm on Sunday evening.
During the incident, the victim was distracted in some way by the offender or offenders.
Officers have warned the public to stay vigilant and be careful of people who call at their home.
The force urged residents to be careful and reminded the public to "lock, stop and check" to stay safe.

In a post on social media, TVP South Buckinghamshire said: "Most people who call at your home will be genuine but sometimes someone may turn up unannounced, with the intention of tricking their way into your home.
"LOCK – Keep your front and back doors locked, even when you’re at home.
"STOP – Before you answer the door, stop and think if you are expecting anyone. Check that you have locked the back door and taken the key out. Look through a spy hole or window to see who it is.
"CHECK – Even if they have a pre-arranged appointment, check their identity card carefully. Close the door whilst you do this.
"Remember, if you have any doubts, Keep them out."
