A Buckinghamshire mother has been fined after her child failed to attend school.
The mother, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been fined £200 and ordered to pay a further £284 in costs.
A hearing at Wycombe Magistrates' Court on July 6 heard that the woman failed to get her child to regularly attend school at Chalfonts Community College between December 2021 and January 2022.
At the hearing, the mother pleaded guilty to a charge of being a parent of a child of compulsory school age who failed to attend regularly.
