FUTURE development ideas for the Rye and Holywell Mead over the next decade are open to residents' opinions this week.
A draft management plan, drawn up by Wycombe District Council, sets out the history of the park, it's current state and a range of possible future developments which aim to meet changing expectations and needs of people who use it.
It can be viewed at the main council offices and High Wycombe Library in Queen Victoria Road, the Environment Centre in Bassetsbury Lane and Wycombe Sports Centre in Marlow Hill.
It can also be seen online at www.wycombe.gov.uk/parks
Councillor Jean Teesdale, cabinet member for younger and older people, said: "We are proud of the Rye and Holywell Mead's history and want to safeguard this invaluable piece of open space whilst meeting the ever changing needs and demands of the community.
"I encourage residents to let us know what they think about our current view of the park and some suggestions for its future which is set out in the draft management plan."
Comments and suggestions can be sent to the council's green spaces improvements team leader by emailing leisure@wycombe.gov.uk or by post to Green Space Improvements Team Leader, Community Services, Wycombe District Council, Queen Victoria Road, High Wycombe, Bucks, HP11 1BB.
The consultation ends on Monday, February 25.
