CONSERVATIONISTS have released a book to remind people living in south Bucks that Holtspur has a thriving and popular nature reserve.
Holtspur Bank Local Nature Reserve', was unveiled in Beaconsfield last week by supporters and local councillors who helped fund the project.
Shirley Scrivener, the book's compiler and chairman of Friends of Holtspur' said: "It's really to make people aware that it exists.
"So many people in Beaconsfield are not aware that there's a nature reserve in the area. It's the only one in South Bucks owned by a town council."
The book, which documents the reserve's history, vegetation and wildlife, is available from Beaconsfield Library or by contacting Shirley Scrivener direct on 01494 676 958.
