A CHILD hit by a van on Friday is not suffering from life-threatening injuries, police have said.
The boy, who police said was aged approximately 12, was kept in hospital overnight as a precaution.
At around 4pm Friday the youngster was involved in the accident near the roundabouts at Hazlemere crossroads on the A404 Amersham Road.
He was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
Officers closed the road while they conducted their investigation, leaving heavy traffic tailbacks.
