DRIVERS in Burnham have been warned not to leave marks made by satellite navigation equipment on their windscreens.
It follows 19 thefts from vehicles during January.
There was also 18 burglaries in the village during the month.
PC Stuart Cook said: "Please do not leave valuables on view, especially laptops, laptop bags or satellite navigation devices.
"Even leaving a mark on the window where the sat nav device was fixed could lead to your car being broken into."
He said youth anti-social behaviours "continues to be a problem", particularly on the High Street and in Coulson Way.
PC Cook said: "Intelligence is gathered so we know who the potential trouble makers are.
"Their parents are contacted personally if their anti-social behaviour continues and arrests made for any criminal offences."
He said an "environmental visual audit" would take place in the village this month.
He said: "This involves noting and photographing damages roads, graffiti, broken street lights etc and then working with the relevant South Bucks Council department to resolve the issues.
"Crime such as criminal damage tends to escalate in areas which are neglected."
