NO ARRESTS have been made by police following last week's raids in Wycombe.
An early-morning operation took place on Sunday 3 after allegations were made in the News of the World newspaper that a bogus charity scheme was being operated from Wycombe.
As a result police conducted searches of five addresses.
The searches have now been completed following several days of police investigations, but no arrests have been made.
Marianne Shaw, communications officer for Thames Valley Police, said: "All the searches have come to an end and people have now been allowed to go back to their homes and businesses.
"No arrests have been made but the investigation is still ongoing."
Two properties in Leigh Street were searched by police, along with other addresses in Desborough Avenue, Priory Avenue and Walton Drive, in relation to the alleged charity scam.
The News of the World reported the fake collections purported to raise funds for religious schools, when in fact the money was allegedly being collected by Muslim extremists.
However, last week Assistant Chief Constable Nick Gargan said police were not drawing any conclusions as a result of information given in the article.
Police have added that anyone who is concerned about any charity donations should contact them via the Police Enquiry Centre on 08458 505 505.
