TO mark the start of Chinese New Year a charity is appealing for people to take part in a once-in-a-lifetime trek along the Great Wall of China.
The Royal National Institute for Deaf People is urging Bucks resident to sign up and take part in the challenge whilst raising money for the charity, who help over nine million deaf people throughout the UK.
People interested in taking part in the challenge would need to be available from October 4-12 and have to raise a minimum of £2,500 in sponsorship, on top of paying a registration fee of £250.
Caroline Jupe, the charity's Events & Community Fundraising Executive, said: "Celebrate the Year of the Rat in a special way by registering for RNID's Beijing trekking this summer and you can discover China's unique and alluring culture."
For more information about the challenge, contact Caroline Jupe on 0845 634 0687 or by email on events@rnid.org.uk.
