A FIRE crew helped out a man who had collapsed in the street after passing him completely by chance.
Two firefighters from the High Wycombe station were on driver familiarisation training on a turntable ladder device in Great Kingshill this afternoon when they happened upon a collapsed man in Missenden Road.
The crew remained with the man and gave help until an ambulance arrived.
Fraser Pearson, communications officer for Bucks Fire and Rescue, said: "If a crew are driving back from an emergency call-out they will always stop to administer help.
"It was late November when an incident like this last happened, when a crew from High Wycombe stopped and administered help outside Marks and Spencer to someone who had collapsed."
