These roadworks in Chesham were announced during the summer months to improve drainage and road surfaces.
Hivings Hill was set to have temporary traffic management and lights at the junctions on weekdays as drainage is improved from July 4 until August 12.
Also, a 24-hour road closure was planned at the junction of Belmont Road with Ridgeway Road, but road closures are no longer needed.
“I am pleased to confirm that the works in the Hivings Hill area are progressing well and are expected to be completed on time,” Steven Broadbent, Cabinet Member for Transport, said.

“At present there is no need for road closures or temporary traffic lights as we finish the works.”
Because of the nature of the location, not many pedestrians were around the works, “however, numbers may increase during the school holidays,” Mr Broadbent added.
“To keep everyone safe, all our work areas are securely barriered and coned off from public.
“Due to the unprecedented warm weather in the last few days, the workers on-site are taking regular breaks, and have been given fresh water supplies, toilets and shade.”

Week-long roadworks on Chesham’s Pond Park Road between Addison Road and Bellingdon Road are scheduled from July 22 to July 27.
The conventional resurfacing works will see a road closure in operation Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm.
