Weekly round-up of hearings at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court:
July 4:
- Denise Howard, 66, of Wexham Street, Stoke Poges. Failing to provide a specimen for analysis when suspected of having driven a vehicle in High Wycombe on December 14, 2019. Committed to prison for three weeks concurrent. Costs £462. Disqualified from driving for three years. Failing to cooperate with a preliminary test in High Wycombe on December 14, 2019. No separate penalty.
- Yusif Mohammed, 21, of Culpepper Close, Aylesbury. Possession of a knife blade or bladed article. On June 11, in Cornmarket, Thame, had a black handled kitchen knife in a public place without good reason. Committed to prison for six months suspended for 18 months. Must carry out 180 hours of unpaid work within 12 months. Knife to be forfeited and destroyed. Possession of a controlled Class B drug. On June 11, in Abingdon Police Station, Oxfordshire, had a quantity of cannabis in their possession. Cannabis to be forfeited and destroyed. Obstructing or resisting a constable in the execution of duty in Cornmarket, Thame, on June 11. No separate penalty.
- Zayaan Price, 18, of Micklefield Road, High Wycombe. Possession of a controlled Class A drug. On July 31, 2021, in High Wycombe, had a quantity of diamorphine in their possession. Conditionally discharged for six months. Diamorphine to be forfeited and destroyed. Possession of a controlled Class B drug. On July 31, 2021, in High Wycombe, had a quantity of cannabis in their possession. Cannabis to be forfeited and destroyed.
- Abed Hussain, 32, of Green Street, High Wycombe. Being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Green Street, High Wycombe, on June 2. Fined £200. Costs £119.
- Rachel Morris, 33, of Edward Close, Aylesbury. Driving over the drink drink drive limit in Wendover Road, Aylesbury, on June 16. Community order made. Must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work within 12 months. Costs £199. Disqualified from driving for 36 months.
- Emma Keating, 42, of Hollow Rise, High Wycombe. Driving over the drink drive limit in West Wycombe Road, High Wycombe, on June 18. Must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work within 12 months. Disqualified from driving for 27 months. Dangerous driving in West Wycombe Road on June 18. Costs £180. Community order made. Disqualified from driving for 15 months.
July 5:
- Kenneth Nicol, 68, of Seymour Court Road, Marlow. Exceeding the 30mph speed limit in Chapel Lane, High Wycombe, on October 10, 2021. Speed recorded was 36mph. Fined £220. Costs £144. Disqualified from driving for six months.
- Ravinder Deol, 49, of Littlebrook Avenue, Slough. Failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence between June 25, 2021 and July 23, 2021. Fined £666. Costs £176. Disqualified from driving for six months.
- Asad Ali, 28, of Bushey Close, High Wycombe. Driving over the drug drive limit. On November 14, 2021, on the M40, Wendlebury, had a quantity of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol in their blood. Must carry out 60 hours of unpaid work within 12 months. Costs £180. Disqualified from driving for 40 months.
- Robert Plested, 47, of Old Orchards, Bierton. Driving over the drug drive limit in Dean Street, Marlow, on December 17, 2021. Fined £192. Costs £119. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. Possession of a controlled Class A drug. On December 17, 2021, in Marlow, had a quantity of methylamphetamine in their possession. Fined £192. Methylamphetamine to be forfeited and destroyed.
