A voucher business run entirely by a team of women has been voted the best in Buckinghamshire at a prestigious awards ceremony.
Voucherline is now one of the biggest gift voucher and gift card providers in the UK and was one of the first online gift voucher shops, but it was all started in Lane End by founder and CEO Caroline Watson.
The company, where you can buy gift cards for shops, football clubs, restaurants, theme parks, supermarkets, hotels, pubs and more, is now run by a team of 10 women - five of whom are family members - from Cressex Industrial Estate.
Caroline said she was "thrilled" that Voucherline has won the gold award at the prestigious SME MK and Buckinghamshire Awards in the 'Buckinghamshire Business of the Year' category.
She said: "We last entered an award program in 1999, so we are just so thrilled to have received this award.
"Our team work so hard, and so to be able to have judges who have never met us, award this to the team makes our hard work extra special."
It is also a double celebration for Caroline, as she has recently found out she has also been listed as a finalist in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards in the 'Family Business Entrepreneur of the Year' category.
An impressive 5,300 national entries were submitted, 77 companies were chosen and Caroline is one of six shortlisted in the category.
The winners will be announced at a grand final, held at the Grosvenor Hotel in London, on November 21.
