"Idiots" who have damaged a cricket pitch by joy-riding have been slammed. 

Bradenham Cricket Club members were left frustrated to find their pitch had been damaged yet again on July 12. 

It is the third time this summer that the pitch, which is on Bradenham Wood Lane in Bradenham, has been broken into and damaged. 

Photos taken at the scene show the usually well taken care of pitch scarred by tyre tracks and soil and grass spread everywhere. 

"For the third time this summer, idiots have decided to break onto our pitch, joy ride and damage our outfield," Bradenham Cricket Club said. 

"Why are people like this?"

Other cricket clubs showed their support on Twitter. 

Whitchurch Cricket Club wrote: "Sorry this keeps happening, hopefully they get caught soon."

Holmer Green Cricket Club added: "What idiots. Lovely ground and a great club, doesn’t deserve this to keep happening to them."
