A Bucks man has been ordered to pay nearly £3,000 after he was found guilty of assault.
Alan James, 53, of Willow Avenue in New Denham, was given a total bill of £2,773 after he was deemed to be guilty of the offence.
At a trial at Wycombe Magistrates' Court, James was found to have attacked another man in New Denham on July 1 last year.

Despite pleading not guilty to the offence, the assailant was found to have committed assault by the justices on March 23.
Sentencing him, the magistrates gave James a £1,730 fine and ordered him to pay £250 in compensation to the victim.
He was also ordered to pay £793 in court costs.
