A High Wycombe takeaway restaurant has been given a zero for hygiene according to a recent inspection. 

Sizzler in Desborough Road has been told it needs to make "urgent" improvements by food hygiene inspectors, who visited on June 5. 

Hygienic food handling and cleanliness and condition of the facilities and the building was rated as needing "major" improvement, while the management of food safety needs "urgent" attention. 

Sizzler offers Peri Peri chicken and wings, kebabs, burgers, wraps and children's meals and desserts. 

The restaurant has mostly good reviews on Google and JustEat, with one person praising it as a "little gem". 

The restaurant also used to have a five for hygiene when it was last inspected in 2019 - the best available.
