A serious crash which is thought to have involved a lorry and a pedestrian has shut part of the A404 this morning.
The A404 southbound between the M40 junction 4 at Handy Cross and the A4155 for Little Marlow due to a "serious collision".
Traffic links are reporting that the crash involved a lorry and a pedestrian although this has not yet been confirmed.
Emergency services are on the scene and there is congestion on most roads in the area, with reports of traffic queuing for at least 1.5 miles.
Road users are advised to follow the Solid Triangle diversion symbol on road signs:
- From the M40 southbound, leave at the J4 interchange
- At the roundabout, use the 6th exit and join Wycombe Road. Continue for approximately 2 miles to a T junction with Wiltshire Road
- Merge with Wiltshire Road and continue to the A4155 roundabout
- Use the 1st exit and join the A4155 Little Marlow road. Continue over the next roundabout and follow to the A404 Marlow Interchange
- At the roundabout, use the 3rd exit to re-join the A404 southbound
