Sir Anthony Seldon delivered a talk at Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School annual speech day and prize giving.
As the country’s leading biographer of recent prime ministers, Sir Anthony is an educator and contemporary historian.
He is known best for his political biographies of Margaret Thatcher, John Major, Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Theresa May.
Touching on themes of leadership and wellbeing, Sir Anthony was unreserved in his praise for the school’s students and staff.
Headteacher, Ms Mountfield presented prizes to students from year 7 to year 13 leavers, recognising outstanding achievements and highlighting the successes of the year.
She said: “I would like to congratulate all of our prize winners on their excellent achievements and recognise the successes of all our students who approached this academic year with such enthusiasm and determination”.
