A beautiful Bucks mansion used for filming and celebrity weddings that Johnny Depp called "an absolutely amazing place" has been voted among the most popular wedding venues in the UK.
Hedsor House, close to Taplow and Bourne End, has been the venue of choice for dozens of star-studded weddings and movie crews - and now it has been named as one of the most popular places to get married in the United Kingdom.
The research, carried out by WeThrift, uncovered the most popular wedding venues based on the amount of Instagram hashtags they had been mentioned in.
Hedsor House came in seventh place, behind the likes of Syon Park in Middlesex, Coworth Park in Berkshire and Cripps Barn in Gloucestershire.
It's not hard to see why Hedsor makes the top 10 - the Georgian mansion has more than 100 acres of private parkland to enjoy, a sunken garden, huge Palladian hall, marble bathrooms in the bridal suite, a tennis court and as of last year, it also offers pet-friendly weddings.
Last year, the venue hosted the wedding of comedian and podcaster Ed Gamble, as he married his partner of more than 10 years, Charlie Jamison, in front of a crowd that included fellow comics Nish Kumar, Josh Widdicombe and James Acaster.
In 2017, the Beckhams also attended the wedding of Victoria's brother Christian at Hedsor House.
The historic house is also a venue of choice for movie-makers - with stars like Dustin Hoffman, Maggie Smith, Johnny Depp, Nicole Kidman, Ricky Gervais and Tom Hardy visiting for filming purposes.
It was also voted by The Telegraph as one of the top 10 filming locations - with films like The Golden Compass and Quartet being made there.
