The man made off in a car
Police officers arrested a wanted man after a late-night foot race in Aylesbury.
The man was wanted on two counts of failing to appear for warrants.
Officers were unable to catch him on foot as the man escaped in a car.
However, the vehicle was later found with the man being arrested.
A Thames Valley Police social media post said: "Last night officers from the TVP rural crime task force had a foot chase with a male wanted on two times fail to appear warrants.
"The male got into a friend's car and made good his escape….almost!
"PS Ruff located the vehicle and the male was quickly arrested by PC Smith!"
