Emergency services were called to a crash on M40 between Loudwater and Beaconsfield in which a woman was found injured.
Fire crews were called to the scene between junction 3 and junction 2 at 1:40pm on Monday (June 27) to deal with the incident.
One woman was released, injured, before the crews from High Wycombe and Beaconsfield arrived.
She was cared for by South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) whilst Thames Valley Police (TVP) and National Highways were also attending.
The Bucks Free Press has approached SCAS and TVP for comment.
