A driver was arrested on his birthday after police received reports of a vehicle swerving across the M40 today.
Thames Valley Police Roads Policing Team said the driver got an "unwanted birthday gift" after they arrested him on suspicion of drink-driving.
999 calls had been made after the driver was reportedly seen swerving across the lanes on the busy motorway.
Sharing the details on Twitter, the team said: "Driver has received an unwanted birthday gift after being arrested on his birthday for drink driving on the M40 following reports of a vehicle swerving across lanes, in custody blew 60ug/L. Second drink drive ban coming soon."
