A car that was being driven the wrong way up a main road has suffered serious damage after the suspected drunk driver crashed into an oncoming vehicle.
Police were called to the A4 Bath Road in Taplow on Tuesday evening after getting several calls about a black Skoda Citygo driving the wrong way up the road.
Not long afterwards the driver was involved in a serious collision with another vehicle that was driving in the correct way. The car was left with major damage.
The driver told the officers that they were sober, but they proceeded to fail a breath test, blowing 104 micrograms of alcohol in 100mililitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms, putting them at nearly three times over the limit.
Fortunately, no one was seriously harmed in the incident.
