A High Wycombe man has been made to pay a huge bill after skipping a £15 train fare.
Benn Gordon, aged 22, of Green Hill, was fined £220 and told to pay £184 in court costs after he boarded a train without a ticket at Tottenham Hale station on January 27.
Gordon was also made to pay £15 compensation for the fare he skipped, leaving him with a total bill of £419.

At a hearing at Barking Magistrates' Court on May 23, the 22-year-old was found guilty of boarding a train without a valid ticket by a single justice procedure.
The offender was given one month to pay the balance.
