Drivers are being warned of long delays on the M40 this morning after a crash involving around five vehicles.
There are queues of up to an hour on the M40 southbound following a crash within junction 4 for Handy Cross.
National Highways warned drivers to expect delays, although they are able to pass by the crash.
They said there are around six miles of congestion on approach to the "multi-vehicle" crash.
All traffic was temporarily held at about 7.25am while emergency services in attendance.
Now there are two lanes closed but one lane is still open.
