A MAN has been arrested after the death of a pensioner's sausage dog that was involved in a crash in High Wycombe.
Jumbo the sausage, as his owner Sue Reynolds affectionately named the 14-year-old dachshund, was fatally injured in the in incident involving an e-scooter in Wycombe town centre on May 12.
Thames Valley Police confirmed that a 27-year-old man from High Wycombe was arrested in connection with the incident. The force said he was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle dangerously.
A spokesperson said: “He has been released under investigation and our enquiries are ongoing.”
