A Bucks man has been ordered to pay a hefty fine for carrying an illegal air gun in public.
Mariusz Szczerba, aged 47, of Quarrendon Road in Amersham, has been ordered to pay a £250 fine and a further £34 in costs for being in possession of the weapon.
On May 12, Szczerba was caught with a CZ75 P/07 air weapon, which closely resembles a handgun, in Quarrendon Road.

At a hearing at Wycombe Magistrates' Court on May 13, the defendant pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing a loaded or unloaded air weapon in a public place.
Following his guilty plea, the justices also ordered that the firearm be forfeited and destroyed.
