Police are trying to find a man who has gone on the run from prison in Buckinghamshire.
Martin Roy Newsome-McLaren absconded from HMP Spring Hill, near Aylesbury, yesterday (June 10).
He is aged 42, 5ft 10ins tall, of thin build, has tattoos on his arms and scars on his arms and right leg.
Newsome-McLaren is serving an indeterminate sentence for threats to kill and was convicted in 2010 to serve a minimum of 30 months and 202 days.
He is believed to frequent Nottinghamshire.
Detective Constable Stephanie Macleod said: “We are appealing for the help of the public to trace Newsome-McLaren.
“If you see him, do not approach him and call 999 instead.
“If you have any information as to where he may be, you can call 101 or make a report online, quoting 43220252884.
“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity, Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.”
